Staking Details

Weighted Rewards

The rewards you earn are weighted by not only which pool you are in, but also your ships level and texture.

Ship Level

The higher your ship level, the more rewards you earn. Each ship has a Star rating which is determined by ship level, the sum of it's stats. In addition to being able to stake a higher level ship into a higher pool based on it's Star Rating, ship level also determines how much you earn within a given pool.

For example, in the 1 - 2 star pool, a level 200 ship will earn more DPS than a level 150 ship.

Two 1-star ships with a level of 150, will earn the same as a single 2-star ship with a level of 300.

Details on star rating level ranges can be found on the Ship Stats page

Ship Texture

More rare ship textures earn more rewards as they are more rare. The following table shows how your ships texture effects the rewards it earns from the pool.

The Pools

One of the things that makes DEEPSPACE NFT staking unique is the pools we have chosen to offer.

There are both Safe Pools and High Risk pools depending on the level of risk you wish to take.

A total of 4 pools exist

  • 1 - 2 Star No Risk

  • 1 - 2 Star High Risk

  • 3 - 5 Star No Risk

  • 3 - 5 Star High Risk

1 - 2 star pools will accept staking of ships that are both 1 and 2 star rating

3 - 5 star pools will accept staking of ships that are of 3, 4 or 5 star rating.

No Risk pools are just that, no risk. They will have the least reward, but there is no chance of losing your ship. It is 100% safe to enter a No Risk pool without fear of burning up.

High Risk pools are just that, high risk. When staking a ship there is a chance that your ship NFT will be burned and lost forever. If burned, the ship does not enter the staking pool and earns no rewards, as it is now gone forever.
